· Protected sites status is given to separate plant and shrub formations and centuries-old trees such as the oak-tree near the village of Zvezdetz, whose age is estimated to be around 1000 years, the thickest (circumference exceeding 5.50 m)1 Strandja tree, found in the area of Zabernovo.
· The Mladeshka river caves and sources
· The Elenina Dupka (pit) Cave
· The Bratanova Cave
· The Maharata Cave
· The Rock (on the way from M.Tarnovo to Gramatikovo
· A historic protected site is Petrova niva (area 250 ha). |
