A journey through spectacular scenery, big spaces and fresh air, a reminder that there are still places to escape to. Whether you are planning a three week tour covering a thousand miles, tracking down a mountain bike challenge in the hills or simply looking for a traffic-free day trip suitable for novices and families, this is the place for you.
Here are some sample itineraries:
· Brashlian - Kosti (45 km) You cycle 10 km on the main road to Zvezdetz and then turn right to an asphalt road (10 km) to Petrova niva - a historical monument. You take a forest dirt track alongside the Veleka river to 'Kachul' (15 km.). There you may stop for a picnic. You continue along Veleka river using a dirt track (20 km) to Kosti, a typical Strandja village
· Kosti - Sinemoretz (50 km) Here you are in the heart of the Standja National Park. You climb a few kilometers to the top of the hill and the road goes eastwards to the Black Sea (50km) A beautiful panorama during most of the way.
· Sinemorez - Lozenetz (20 km) You are on the Black sea coast and head north to Lozenetz. This route is only 20 km so that you may enjoy some time spent on the beach of Lozenetz.
· Losenez - Primorsko (75 km) You go for a tour in this part of Strandja National park via Velika, Fazanovo, Pismenovo (50 km). You cycle mostly on asphalt roads. Beautiful landscapes. The trip finishes in Primorsko sand dunes.
· Primorsko - Sozopol (70 km) You start this itinerary in 'Ropotamo' national park (25 km): you can stop to have a look at the Ropotamo river with its famous water lilies. Then you cycle via Iasna Poliana, Veselie (35 km) to Sozopol where you can enjoy the romantic atmosphere of this unique little town.
