Though travel in the winter is possible in most parts of Strandja, it is deterrent to most activities and travel on mud-clogged or snow-covered roads is difficult. In general, the best time to visit is in the warm seasons between April and October.
The main Bulgarian holiday period is the month of August, when most places on the sea-side and some in the mountain are packed and prices get higher. |
